These terms describe the Lifeblood Kaharagia programme, who administers it, how participation works, and the rules that apply to participants. They are not a substitute for medical advice and they do not displace the terms of the Kaharagian ePortal, the Káhareži Fondazár's own terms, or Kaharagian honours law, all of which continue to apply in their respective domains.

1. About the programme

Lifeblood Kaharagia is a joint initiative of the Káhareži Fondazár and the Principality of Kaharagia.

The Káhareži Fondazár (legal name Kaharazi Vondacija; EIN 88-2274879) is a Michigan nonprofit corporation, recognised as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. The Fondazár administers Lifeblood Kaharagia as a charitable and educational programme. The Fondazár's general terms are at help.kaharagia.org/info/fondazar-terms.

The Principality of Kaharagia confers the Medal of Merit for Blood Donations on participants who reach the donation milestones, in accordance with Kaharagian honours practice.

The Fondazár and the Principality are separate legal persons. References to either party in connection with Lifeblood Kaharagia reflect the joint nature of the programme; they do not establish either party as a party to obligations of the other.

2. What the programme does and doesn't do

Lifeblood Kaharagia recognises voluntary blood donations made by participants through recognised donation services. The programme does not collect blood, provide medical advice, or operate any clinical service.

You donate through whatever blood service operates in your country. Lifeblood records that donation against your participant profile and tracks your progress toward the Medal of Merit.

3. Eligibility

Participation is open to anyone who voluntarily donates blood through a recognised blood-collection service, regardless of nationality or country of residence. Kaharagian nationals and friends of the nation are both welcome.

Identity verification through K-Connect is required before donations can be recorded against your participant record, so that donations are recorded against a real, verified person.

4. Recording donations

Donations are recorded through the Lifeblood section of the Kaharagian ePortal. Each submission requires:

A reviewing officer verifies the documentation before the donation is added to your record. You may be asked for further evidence if the documentation is unclear. Donations made before joining the programme may be submitted retrospectively, subject to officer discretion based on the evidence available.

5. The Medal of Merit for Blood Donations

The medal is awarded in four classes, by verified donation count:

Class Donations Awarded for
First Class 100 A lifetime of voluntary blood donation.
Second Class 75 Long service to the cause of blood donation.
Third Class 50 Continued giving over many years.
Fourth Class 25 A first established record of voluntary donation.

Conferral takes place after the threshold is reached and the donations have been verified. Conferral is recorded in the Royal Kaharagian Gazette and on the public Honours registry. Physical medals may be issued in accordance with the Principality's normal honours-administration practice.

Once a class of the medal is conferred, it is part of the public Honours record. It cannot be retroactively withdrawn except in the circumstances provided for in Kaharagian honours law.

6. Privacy

Donation records contain health-adjacent information (the fact and type of donation, and supporting documentation that may include medical-adjacent details). The programme treats this with heightened sensitivity:

For the full picture, see the ePortal Privacy Notice (Programme-Specific Data section on Lifeblood).

7. Medical disclaimer

Lifeblood Kaharagia is not a medical service. Whether you may donate blood is decided by the donation service in line with the medical and legal rules that apply in your country, which vary by location and by donation type. Donate only if you are eligible, well, and cleared to do so by the donation service.

Neither the Fondazár nor the Principality advises on your eligibility to give blood, on your health, or on any clinical question relating to donation. For all such questions, speak to the donation centre or to a qualified medical professional.

8. Withdrawal

You may stop participating at any time by writing to lifeblood@kaharagia.org. Medals already conferred remain part of the public Honours record; new donations will no longer be recorded against your profile.

9. Changes to the programme

The Fondazár, in cooperation with the Principality, may revise the rules of the programme from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page, with the "Last reviewed" date updated. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised rules.

10. Governing law

Matters relating to the Fondazár's administration of the programme, including the recording and verification of donations, are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, and the United States. Disputes arising in connection with the Fondazár's administration of the programme are to be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan.

Matters relating to the conferral of the Medal of Merit for Blood Donations are governed by Kaharagian honours law.

Nothing in these terms displaces a consumer-protection or data-protection right that applies to you and cannot be waived.
